I am just ordering a factory built Defender with 20” alloy wheels, and I like the look of the Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure tyres, instead of the standard Pirelli Scorpion Zero all season tyres.
I would mainly be using the vehicle for road use, but are the Goodyear Wrangler tyres going to be more noisier , drive different and not grip so much on road wet conditions than the standard Pirelli’s ?

Might be liveable if it’s used as a shopping car in town and as a serious off-roarer, but anything else these will be a pain on long journeys. The Pirelllis are great and are fine for light off road use. Most LR at the Land Rover experience days run regular road tyres and can obviously cope with all the usual stuff off road.
I would use the Goodyear’s.
You may get a tiny bit of road noise etc but they won’t hum like the Duratrac tyre which is another offering.
I ran duratracs for nearly 104k on my D3, in all weathers that the Scottish climate could throw at it.
Handled everything fine and the D3 is 200+kg heavier.
