I am about to extend my RRS warranty but can’t decide do I need the full singing and dancing or the select with breakdown cover.
I only do 5000 miles a year and the car has been very reliable and has done 20k miles.

My extended warranty on LR paid for itself several times over and all before 30k miles,

£1107 or Select 907 both with LR Assist.

For the sake of the 200 quid I would definitely go for it. And will do when the warranty on my FFRR runs out in a year or so.

That was my thoughts and have gone with the full Warranty for piece of mind!

Apologies I haven’t been online over the weekend, I’m not sure what the name was but I kept the comprehensive covers almost everything one. I had 2 rebuilds of the engine under it, although I’m pretty sure the 2nd was a result of the 1st not being done properly!

Please come back to the thread and update when the warranty inevitably pays for itself!

Having said that, I wouldn't own anything else.

Had the car 4 years and apart from DPF red warning light coming on which was force regen by LR Assist (AA) the car has been faultless.

Great to hear. Mine is mechanically faultless, too (so far). The screens/cameras go funny sometimes (mainly during difficult reversing manevours, as if it knows...) but I think the RR reliability issues are a bit oversold.

Though it all be worth it when the air suspension goes bang!
