L322 coolant warning

The warning came up to check coolant and then it started smoking. I the coolant was empty so filled up. Just driven a short distance this morning and its done the same. Any ideas?

Hmmm... If there's no obvious signs of coolant loss (puddle under car), I'm assuming it's being ingested by the engine somewhere.

I'd suggest calling your recovery company of choice and getting it taken to a specialist for diagnosis.

It was a split bypass hose at the back of the cylinder head
