The FIL has a 68 plate P400e, well, I say he has one, it’s been with the local dealer now for 5 weeks as there is a fault with the battery pack not holding a charge. The dealer suspects it needs a new battery but LR don’t want to pay for it.
He had a diesel RRS before this one, he says he’s swapping it for another diesel as soon as he gets it back.

Does he do a lot of miles?
Reason I sourced a hybrid for MIL is she had a 2016 sdv6 and does minimal miles, hence the dpf keeps clogging up and is frustrating.
No, he bought it as he only does short journeys, usually only a couple of miles with the occasional 15 to 20 mile run. His will only do a maximum 15 miles on a charge if he’s luckyReason I sourced a hybrid for MIL is she had a 2016 sdv6 and does minimal miles, hence the dpf keeps clogging up and is frustrating.
I’ve got one, aside from a minor rattle that it’s going in to get sorted later in the month it’s been great. Probably tempted fate now!
15 miles on a charge when it’s cold out isn’t crazy. On a good run when the weather’s good mine will get 25 ish miles on a charge but when the heater is on the range really suffers as you would expect.
Would I get another one? P400e no, the logical next step would be full electric, RRS absolutely, love the thing.
