Has anyone had the unexpected surprise of finding their Disco 4 is convertible by having their panoramic roof disappear when driving down the road?!

This happened to my wife at 50mph on a 2015 Land Rover Used Approved Disco 4 and according to LR it’s not a design fault!

I shall leave a bit more space when following Discoveries in future. You wouldn't want to hit a big piece of glass like that.

Wow - that is alarming! Do you know why it happened?

Whilst I genuinely sympathise why should it be a 'design fault?' Mechanical stuff happens, not necessarily because it's been inherently badly designed from inception. I hope you get it sorted by LR regardless.

LR have contributed only 50%. A Google search reveals that LR Oz did a recall for the same issue but LR deny that there is any issue!
