I’m aware that this has probably been covered already.

Are SVR’s really as unreliable as they’re perceived? Also, real world MPG with a heavy right foot?

My current daily is s C63 Biturbo and I’ve averaged 15.1mpg with that, and I do 15k a year - am I mad?

Blimey! 15mpg in a C63 is... committed..! I average 24.7 from mine and try not to hang around!

On my third svr - round town - 11-12 mpg , on a run 20-22 mpg

Only real issue i had on my first one (2017) was the crap infotainment that would play up and freeze periodically. No mechanical issues in the 15k and 2 years I had it .

2018 car I backed on the dealer forecourt because none of the touch buttons on the dash worked properly . We’re Waiting for updates line peddled out so I back it on the spot and got my money back.

In a 2019 car now, and everything’s much improved , apart from the noise - muted now compared to the older cars. Electronics much better although still clunky at times and it’s frozen twice in the last 3 months, but a switch off / on and it seems to sort itself.
Mechanically (touch wood) no issues in 4K .
