I posted this in the car buying forum but no response:

There is a 3k discount on used Range Rover Sports if you take up Landrover Financial Services (Blackhorse Finance) for the purchase. This represents a generous discount on the car I am looking at. Dealer otherwise not willing to discount price at all.

Does anyone know if a) is this 3k discount available to business purchasers who take up Landrover Finance; and b) if then paid off almost immediately in cooling off period, would discount still stand.

Not sure about business purchasers but had it confirmed that you can pay off and discount remains. Apparently it's funded 50/50 between JLR and the dealer. I'm about to purchase using the same offer on a Range Rover (£4k discount with those).

Can anybody who has already done this with Land Rover used confirm this was done ok with no hassle, and explain the process/timescale?

Also how much of the sale price of the vehicle do you have to put on finance to get the discount? I assume you couldn't just finance say 10k and still claim the discount.

My mates taken advantage of this scheme on a 2015 RRS autobiography dynamic.
Lovely thing.

He’s taken the LR out with their pcp stuff to get the 3k off, but will settle the pcp in full shortly with other finance which was his original intention.

This way he’s saved 3k.

Great thread .

I have seen one i like and it corks with £4K off of i use their finance .

I intend to take them up and as above , pay it off with cheaper finance elsewhere . I just can’t seem to find out if there is a minus amount of time i must pay their payments.

I was told this morning that this offer was being pulled from Range Rover Sports with immediate effect. Was hoping it would hang around for another few weeks.

It seems its gone for ALL cars now.

Total PITA. I read the small print and it stated it was up until end of March.

Wait a couple of months and the LR vehicle are interested in will have lost a lot more than £4K. My immaculate 2-year old 4.4 Range Rover Autobiography with 28k miles has lost £60k according to a recent offer to upgrade to another near identical RR. I’m on my 5th RR so am used to their depreciation but this was shocking yikes

Hi , was about to do a deal on a RRS and the deal got pulled on Friday . Dealer would now only offer £500 off but would get to 7.9% APR . I was going to buy and then pay off immediately , know someone who has done this and no issue .
Will now wait until post March 1 st stock has appeared and so who needs to shift one I want !!

I took advantage of the £3k discount on a 2015 used RRS with the finance then withdrew from the agreement within the 14 days and took a loan out at 2.7% to cover it.
Still got the discount ok.

I'd heard there are some big deposit contributions from quite a few manufacturers up to 10k on some used cars to get the market moving.
