Disco 4 crank snap warranty

Motoreasy have confirmed to me in writing that it is covered and offered 3 years for just under £1k which seems a decent insurance policy.
What mileage is on your D4 for that £1k warranty? I shall probably buy one eventually.....but I'd have to write it off if the crank turned its self into kit form unless I get a warranty. bakerstreet said:

As a general question, what are the servicing requirements for these warranties to cover you and not try to wriggle out of every claim?

You need to service as per manufacturers guidelines and must be a proper garage ie VAT registered.
They asked to see my latest service invoice when I claimed for the engine.
Ok. I like to turn spanners myself but sure o could forsake that for the annual oil change. I think the D4 is annual/ 16k Miles? They asked to see my latest service invoice when I claimed for the engine.
ETA: I guess this extends to all thing covered by the warranty. So if the diff explodes next month, they’ll want to see evidence of an oil change on a specified schedule? The 8sp zf box is ‘sealed for life’ according to LR I think?
New to all this warranty stuff, always ran cars that weren’t worth the warranty or didn’t have a rep for chucking big bills
