TPS fault symptoms on 3.9 Non cat RR Classic
Discussion
Have run Rovergauge on this, warmed up to diagnose various running issues, iacv clean and reset seems to have cured some issues with high idle etc but I have no tps signal. ie, it sits at 11 percent absolute/0 percent corrected irrespective of actual throttle position, can anyone tell me if this would cause a really bad kangaroo juice effect at high throttle/low speeds, high CO emissions and a lack of overall power? If anything it seemed even worse with the tps disconnected (but left in place) All other readings seem to be normal.
I've removed it and tested the tps (the car is 30 mins away and I forgot the electrical tester), seemed to be faulty but working it around a bit and cleaning it with contact cleaner it seems to provide a smooth, reliable range of resistance.
Any advice from the experienced would be much appreciated
