LR Extended warranty.
Discussion
That's gonna be down to the 'small print' but 'yes', I would have thought so.
I'd be looking at it like an insurance policy. Technically, you're paying the full amount up-front but they're offering you the ability to spread the cost with what is essentially a 'loan'. If you sell the car in the mean time, you could cancel the policy and see if they offer a refund to offset against the amount still outstanding.
However, if that is the case, it does raise an interesting point around people selling cars with transferable extended warranties. It's something else you're gonna have to check, as well as any outstanding finance, yada, yada...

Ok, phoned up and there is a few permutations ,you are basically on the hook for the full 10 payments but if you have not had a claim the underwriters “MAY” look at cancelling the policy with no further payments.
You can transfer the warranty when selling privately but must pay up the policy in full.
If the car is traded to a dealership then the policy becomes void and you “MAY” have to pay in full.
Past experiences with insurance companies means that I would change “MAY” to YOU MUST PAY in FULL.

Hi, the LR warranty is very good, so far have used it to the tune of £16k over the past 3 years on a late 2013 LR Discovery. I am still paying monthly and hoping to keep my car under 100k so I can renew for another year. (Current mileage 94k) love My Discovery.
Blimey - I wouldn't love it if my car for the two years out of warranty cost £16K in 2 years. Even under warranty it would be telling me to get shut.Even if LR covered it, it's a massive hassle taking it for repair and dealing with the useless service depts JLR have (certainly in my area.)
