Checking this morning I’ve noticed LR have stopped offering the 24 month warranty as standard. Brave move there with all their known issues! For me that was a big selling point over their rivals, just hope it can be extended at point of sale for not too much if I pull the trigger shortly.

Well I doubt its because they think nothing will go wrong, so lets reduce the warranty period, shameful really for such a high priced vechile.

Bought my RRS in Nov 18 (Approved Used, 2 yr warranty) and since then it's been in the dealer eight times to fix recurring problems, engine mounts, braking system, suspension issues, fuel lines, crankshaft pulley and tailgate struts. LR Assist have been called twice, once to replace a throttle body and once for excessive noise/vibration through the steering wheel. It's now started squeaking underneath and it's also thrown up an airbag light. I long for the day when there's nothing wrong with it but thank god I've got the two year warranty, not sure I'd be brave enough to buy one with 'just' 12 months on it.

Even 24 months was out of step with most brands? If I bought a new vehicle I'd expect 36 month minimum?

You still get 3yrs with a new one.

This is the approved used Warranty reducing from 2yrs to 1yr.
