Freelander 2 TD4 Cut out and wont turn over
Discussion
Hi all, hoping someone can help me solve a problem with my daughters car. She was diving the other day when all of a sudden it just cut out, when you try to restart the car everything goes off on the dash and it just clicks and doesnt turn over.
I thought it might be the battery so recharged over night with no success.
I can hear clicks under the bonnet and from near the glove box.
I see lots of similar problems online with no resolutions with them.

Hi
If all dash lights are going out as well as clicking my first check would be battery voltage at that time, the battery may be collapsing internally, measure voltage of battery with nothing on should be over 12volt then leave volt tester on and try to start vehicle watch the voltage if it drops dramatically batt u/s
Also check your earth and cleanliness of battery terminal connections
