Looking at getting a discovery (new on business contract hire - commercial if it makes a difference).

Looking at the specs, I don't know if there's anything I need on the HSE that the SE doesn't have. What are your experiences - am I overlooking anything?

Thanks

Loved my D5 (HSE Lux) and will probably get another. The HSE is more RR than LR if that makes sense which I thought a good thing but others may not!

SE is perfectly decently specc’d - if I were spending any additional money it would be on the biggest wheels. Shallow I know but absolutely transforms the looks from fugly to modern and cool (no doubt the original intent!).

Car is hugely practical and competent and perfect family wheels!

Thank you for taking the time to reply. The wheels were one thing I commented on when the salesman showed me the SE spec (the only commercial they had on site).

Commercial will make a huge difference to your BIK.

I'm not sure if UK spec is the same as US but in the US the SE cannot be had with intelligent seat fold which, if you're going to use the 3rd row, is very convenient.

Meant make a difference to the spec sorry - will be 100% business use.

This won't even have the second row! Good to know though smile

I had 2 D4 commercials and you could spec it up as much as you wanted. The las one had everything, the only things missing were pano roofs and a few little things.

Not sure on the D5 options for commercial though.
