Does anyone know why official mpg numbers for the Range Rover Sports 2.0i (petrol) is lower than the 3 litre supercharged (petrol). Is it the way mpg is now calculated or 4 cylinder engine is strained despite being 300hp.
Because a 2 litre engine with the nuts tuned off it is going to struggle more than a less stressed 3 litre when asked to move two tons of Range Rover Sport around. It will thus use more fuel.
