Hello

I just got a land rover and thought this app, if you haven't already come across it, would perhaps be worth mentioning to owners of LR's with Rover V8 Engines.

The Discovery, Defender, and Range Rover that run a Lucas 14CUX can use this ECU Diagnostics Android app called RS-RV8 to monitor their engine in real-time.

App:

Hope it helps!

(Dear moderators, this is not an advertisement, the app is free so I hope I'm not breaking any rules!)

Lots of the TVR guys now using Rovergauge and some of the clever buggers have managed to crack the coding so can reprogram the chips in the ECU:

I had my Griffth mapped at kitsandclassics in Chesterfield to primarily stabilise fueling as it was running rich and lower revs and leaning out at higher revs. Bonus is also more power and a bit more torque. Plus I had a few pops and bangs programmed in at between 2 and 3k revs.
