I know it’s a generic question but what is the tyre mileage you get from a set of tyres on the new Range Rover on average? It’s the p400e on 21 inch wheels

To answer questions before they come:
I can afford the tyres
I can’t ask the dealer right now
I’m just asking out of interest lol hope that’s covered off most of the questions I’ll get!!

Thanks

I have new RRS - 22" - i've done 15k in mine and tyres still loads of life. I'm sure they said 6mm left on all during health check for its 15k service.

Have you bought the range yet? I really like the new full fat ranges <3

Haven't seen the other thread.

Nearest comparison I can offer is that on my previous L322, which was the petrol AJ-V8 model, I got through two sets of Pirelli Scorpions and they both lasted c. 35k miles. Which I thought was pretty bloody good. Driven normally, ie not like Miss Daisy but not flat out everywhere either.

Not so sure the tyres on my current 5.0 SC will last as long!

No not got it yet but it comes soon - have ordered it
Yeah it should be nice
To be honest I grew up loving cars but I’m sick of sports cars, classic cars etc now - they’re just a hassle so I’m hoping I’ll get loads of use out of this car. Always said I’d never go for an SUV 4x4 thing as I wasn’t sure on the image but now I’ve gone to the dark side!

Mate i'll be honest, it's the way forwards in the UK with the traffic and crap roads!

Had a 911 GTS last year, lovely but completely pointless and would rather be in a RR 9 times out of 10!

I think a range rover is still a "petrolhead" car - just a different experience to a sports car. Still special feeling in its own way.

Image is the only downside. I do feel slightly drug dealer in it but who cares, i like it.

Completely agree

I have some other stuff and I just don’t use them. Pot holes, traffic, average speed cameras, hassle and all that entails. Just want a car that can go to Starbucks, to the gym and just throw stuff in.

I use the other cars out of guilt as they’re so unused! The idea of a super car is far better than the reality of owning one in my humble opinion!

Exactly this. It's a sad but liberating realisation biggrin

My ideal now is to just hire something fast for a week when the mood takes me, rest of the year i'm not bothered!

Why did you opt for the hybrid out of interest?

Agreed re hiring something fast. Mate of mine is into fast cars and likes these driving holidays and trips away to Scotland etc. He’s just lost his driving licence and so is likely to lose his job too - was on a straight road and put his foot down and well, that was that. Makes you think.

I went hybrid because of the tax and also due to being able to park in places like my local supermarket and at service stations etc by the door in a big space for plug in electric cars!
