Discovery 3 - DIY / Driveway maintance
Discussion
Looking at a 5K ~ ish Discovery 3, lets say for instance 120,000k.
Are these suitable for home servcing / repair.
Happy to get my hands dirty, done multiple clutch change, engine out jobs etc.. on Defender 110 and VX220, just wondering whether a Discovery 3 is still fixable with a rachet set and hammer?
There looks to be ZERO space under the bonnet for access, and an awful lot of electrics onboard.
Otherwise, I really, really do like them!
Thoughts please.
I'm probably going to end up with a manual TD if any, I've had a look and there doesnt appear to be any manual V8's out there?

They only made the V8 in auto.
Tbh, auto is better for the car, suits it’s nature better.
There is a reasonable amount of room once you remove the fan shroud.
Buy a decent toolkit and an IID tool and you are good to go for most bits.
IID tool covers all electrical code reading, software updates etc.
There are plenty of good ones outsnd plenty of sheds.
Take your time looking, and be fussy.
