Range Rover, Series 1, E-type Reborn programme.

If this IS them, making an appearance on the auction site, looking to relieve themselves of some surplus stocks which they have been cornering over the past 2-3 years.....?

Saw also their ebay ad for a rather rusty USA import E-type at £31k, now ended, went unsold.

jlrclassic (0) : Seller history, nil to date.

My gut feel is no. Could just be someone trading on the JLR Classic brand and they may be kicked off Ebay or asked to re-brand if they aren't really JLR Classic. Also, I think its referred to as reborn rather than classic.

A mate and I went to on the factory tour of the Re-Born Workshop when it was in its infancy. This was when they re-built 6 Series 1s and every one of them came from the Australian outback. It was also interesting to note when they recuited for the original 8 positions, they had over 800 applicants and most of the team on the reborn series were all JLR employees of 20+ years.

Sadly, I think JLR need much more than their heritage these days, especially given the recent news that they are laying 5000 people off.
