L322 Gearbox oil change - go on guess £

Well my lovely 322 is endearing itself to me, diesel drone is a bummer but living the 22mpg after the 14mpg cayenne.
So I asked while it’s in (main dealer) for transaxle oil change if they would do the gearbox flush and filter.
No problem £1340 please - er no it’s ok ta.
Otherwise I’m happy with it, dealer has been wonderful and terrible in equal measure and for £240 has lost my future business forever - very very short sighted.

I’d be intrigued for you to go back and ask for more detail of this price. My independent Land Rover specialist did a gearbox flush, oil and filter change on my old L322 for £80!

£800 odd for the oil, they are obviously flushing with virgin olive oil I guess.

That's very cheap, I doubt they did an actual flush (with the Wynn machine etc) as that uses quite a lot of oil, which is about £24 a litre iirc.

A ZF 6 speed box megaflush should be £240-300 depending on where you live.

Any more than that and they have big windows to see you coming.

That 4 figure bill is disgusting.
