Help please folks!! How do I unblock these tubes!
Discussion
I was getting cold water dribbling on my foot combined with sodden footwells so....took the trim away to reveal what I believe to be climate control condenser drains. So...I pulled the rubber bit down and received a face full of water
so......my thought process is that the lower bits are blocked. I put some thin wire down there...got about 6" in then no further.. any hints at all? Please see pics. Oh and it's a 2008 RR Sport ...

Don't go too rough with the wire as you don't want to poke a hole in them so some suggest using something like a length of bicycle brake cable (with a taped end) or similar instead to have a rummage inside them.
But if the pokey wire technique doesn't work then it can be worth trying a squirt of compressed air. They are just rubber hoses with self closing ends so you're not going to dislodge anything by blowing some air down there apart from (hopefully) whatever gunk is causing the blockage.
They exit on top of the gearbox so are quite tricky to get at from underneath unless you've got super bendy arms.
