After trying to buy the wife a new evoque with a good spec I made the mistake of going to Welwyn garden city. Where I was just left to stand in the showroom[on a weekday we were the only people their} and when the salesman finally decided to talk to use he basically told use how dare we turn up without a appointment [wa***r] ok we'll go somewhere else. Ok let try a different dealer we phoned Bedford 3 times nobody could be bothered to return a phone call. Cambridge & lincoln do not return phone calls about stock evoques . Northampton are pretty good and helpful but could not get the price and spec right, Milton Keynes were very helpful nothing was to much bother for them [ wife changed the spec and colour about 3 times] it made a nice change. Come on land rover sort your dealers out start taking the franchise away from the incompetent bunch of self righteous half wit's.

If I ever fancied a second career, a JLR salesman would be a sure route to riches. They are either absolutely coining it (so can't be arsed to call back or follow up) or someone who actually does do what they are supposed to do would clean up.

If you don't tell them about the bad - and the good - service you received then they will presume that all their dealers are doing a good job.

Similar experience at Welwyn...and more recently Barnet - both Grange...went to Stratstone yesterday in Aylesbury - great service and got a stonking deal on a RRS 2015 65 plate - did the deal.....
