Started looking into chipping my new Defender, doesn't seem as 'perky' as my old 2.4.
Anyone carried out any tuning, any recommendations.

Bell auto services would probably be my preferred. They are very good at what they do, and in the case of the 2.2 I think they were the ones that cracked the remapping side of it first.

Other than that, alive tuning and JE engineering have a good rep.

I was looking a Bowler which seemed comprehensive, if slightly on the more expensive side.

Bowler maps were developed by/in conjunction with, you guessed it, Bell Auto Services!

Hi macar.

I'm not sure if you have looked over on DEFENDER2.NET, but there's lots of information on remapping available on the forum. Both BAS and Alive have their own areas in the Site Sponsors section.

I'm considering getting my 2.2 remapped, but have decided to wait until the LR warranty is up. Just over a year to go.

David.
