Just the 2.7hse for the wife ...
Ended up hagging the hell out of the local dealer...
Beating the broker prices in the country ...

Perhaps I should go into the personal car buying business..

How did you manage to get the discount.
I have a deposit on one from 10 months ago.

OK Here is what I did

Washed the Merc ML and polished it sold it thru autotrader.co.uk in 1 day at £3K more than a LR trade in
I price it to sell between good private and poor and it flew away

Got a discounted broker price from drivethedeal.com went to two LR dealer and the Oxford dealer did the deal.

Had the car in stock 1 week later my exact spec is delivered ....

I was looking to PCP but the deals were crap ended up doing a PCP like deal from Marks & Sparcs at 6.2% - 3 % better than others I found

Job done ..

I have been looking at Discoverys and also have a deposit down on a Range Rover Sport. However just been out in a friend's Vogue range rover and at night the screen is terrible. It has a heater matrix. Can't say i noticed during the day but it defracts oncoming car lights badly. I need to check if this is an option as it would put me off the vehicle so i want it miles away from my car. Has anyone else had the same problem. Just can't see the point - clear visibility at all times vs ability to defrost occasionally.

What make are the screens (the name by the E mark) in your vehicles? Some manufacturers do not use the same microwire in their aftermarket copies.
