Range Rover Sport (2012) 24" Rims/Alloy + Tyre Combo

Need some help with some wheels for our 2012 Range Rover Sport. We have some immaculate 24" alloys for this car. However, the set need a new set of tyres. They currently have worn 285/30/24 on. I am unable to locate this tyre size in the UK but have found NANKANG SP-7 XL TYRES 285/40/24. Would the 40s still fit instead of the 30s. No need to comment on the ride, this set was not my idea.

Id say no. Those 40 profile tyres are a good couple of inches taller than the tyres you currently have fitted which are themselves taller than the oem rolling circumference so even if they did physically fit your speedo and overall gearing will be well out.
Tyres are easy enough to import if needed so try and get the right size.
