Condensation

My father recently bought a V-reg. Freelander. All is well with it except for the fact that it condensates terribly. The seal of the rear window was replaced several weeks ago as there was a leak (at a cost of £630!). The leak has been stopped but the condensation problem continues. I understand that it is a common problem. Are there any steps that can be taken to alleviate irratating the problem?

Buy vast amounts of water absorbing silica gel type stuff, and leave it in your car for a while. I Think Halfords sell the stuff.

IF YOU'VE STILL GOT THE PROBLEM, FIRST CHECK THAT THE AIR FLOW FOR THE BLOWER IS IN THE AIR INTO CAB, RATHER THAN RE-CIRCULATE? IF THAT DOES'NT WORK, BUY SOME DE-HUMIDIFIER BOXES ( THEY USE IN CARAVANS! ) FROM FOCUS DIY, OR WILKINSONS, THEY'LL SORT OUT THE PROBLEM!
