When I'm turning on full lock in my Freelander it feels like some one has pulled on the handbrake. Are they all like this?

Mrs N17 TVR's doesn't do this - but it does suffer from bad wheel vibration over 70mph (repeated alignment and balancing checks have failed to rectify it)

Hope thats of some help.....

Yes, my g/friends ex-Freelander was exactly the same as this. Need to give it lots of rev's.

Why I could hazzard a guess, but maybe someone more technologically competant can answer.

It is due to the viscous coupling in the middle of the car tying up and driving all four wheels. Mainly happens on Mums in reverse on full lock.
