Is it just me or was last nights Fifth gear the worst advert for the new Discovery and green laning Ive ever seen.
A clearly water logged track is driven at high speed, great for the photo's, crap for the countryside.
What chance to responsible off roaders have with these cretins about??.

Hear, hear. Can someone shoot that fat twat presenter and the producer who let him do that? All the 4x4 people who've been promoting responsible green laning must have been cringing while the greenies fired up their bile-filled fountain pens for another missive to the local ROW officer.

Sigh.

Totally agree, completely lets the side down. The only good thing is that the anti-car lefties are unlikely to be watching Fifth Gear anyway!

Typical of the Fifth Gear "it's for telly" mentality….

Caravan racing… … so we got a review and a half in that program, and that was it…

Just like VBH in the Aston the other week… full lock, foot to the floor, auto belt adjuster lets the belt fly… so they fix it… and she does EXACTLY the same again…

I didn't see it....seems I didn't miss much though.

Very bad for green laning.

but she would still get it big style...and anyway you should be able to drive a car how you want without it falling to bits!!!

I agree, totally irresponsible! He was a tw@t!!

I prefered the old style programmes, when it was a magazine show about cars, not stuunts performed for the sake of it!
