Got this from Land Rover this morning- Like the ideas of a supercharger version

We are proud to introduce the extraordinary new Range Rover Sport. It's a completely new Land Rover that is set to drive change: a remarkable new high performance vehicle that distinguishes itself as the fifth Land Rover vehicle.

We are aware you may have registered to receive exclusive access to information on our new vehicle. Today, we are pleased to not only reveal the new Range Rover Sport, but also to let you know a little more.

The real news is that a first edition of only 1,200* super-charged new vehicles will be released. Available in 3 exterior colours: Zambezi Silver, Java Black and Vesuvius Orange, the first edition is simply the finest looking and best specified Range Rover Sport.

As you can see, it has a dynamic exterior: one which commands the utmost respect. If you would like to see a little more and discover its bold styling for yourself, please visit

I have been lucky enough to have worked on this range rover for the last 4 years, I can tell you its weight
is lighter than the new disco and with about 400bhp
it goes like stink. To add it does about 10mpg!!!! if your lucky
wait for the v8 diesel.

I take it they are using the 4.2ltr out of the Jag XJR/XKR?

V8 diesil sounds v interesting. Are they gonna put it in the Disco 3? I hear the V6 unit has no poke for the heavy ole Disco at the mo.

Is it having the V6 disco diesel in the interim? I have my name down in the dealers order book but only for a diesel.

If its going to be 18 mths then I may opt for the regular Rangie

I saw a couple going up the M5 on Tuesday evening, 7pm-ish dark blue and a silver/grey one. Thought it was a little small for a rangie till I saw the back.
