Are you talking about the LR3? That's what its called in the U.S. I like it. Test drove one--very impressed. However, my wife didn't like it, said it was too "macho". She wants to stick w/her Volvo XC90. LR3 is a very impressive vehicle.

We went to our local LR dealer yeasterday to view our new Freelander HSE, which we collect next week. While we were waiting the ever so nice sales guy asked if we wanted a demo in a manual 2.7 diesel disco 3, with a view to us swaping our new boxster when it is a little older (don't ask why I would want to do that). Anyway to cut a long story short, it was the best sounding and definately the smoothest diesel I have heard and the car was fantastically built. Would I swap the Boxster for one????

Oh yes I would.

Just waiting for delivery this week of a TD HSE. I was very impressed. Just hope it's not too slow for my wife. She has been known to put her foot down.

Impressive kit list for the money IMO.
