All "Classic" or proper Range Rovers have 3.54:1 ratio diffs. The later 4 door may have 24 spline side gears so buy a diff from a 2-door.
Main problem with fitting Range Rover diff into a series is that low ratio is not that low anymore resulting in very poor engine braking when used off road.
Series low ratio is about 2.2:1, all coil sprung have a low ratio of 3.3:1, that is how they get away with higher ratio diffs.
