I am looking to change the wheels on my RRC, I really like the steel wheels rims on the original RR so something alloy a bit wider that look similar would be good, but am open to other thought, what do other RRC owners have?

Thanks

I'm running these;

18" BlackSport

I also have a set of 16" TRW wheels that are currently on my Discovery.

On the CSK?

Really very very nice wheels. If it wasn't for the cyclone's being original on the LSE I'd be very tempted.

I think the defender boost alloys look really good on the classic.

Yup, on the CSK, with the other suspension changes I've made it makes all the difference!

Ignore the fresh waxoyl dripping down the LPG tanks, I don't like this photo for that reason, but it shows the wheels off nicely.

I really must refurb the proper CSK alloys soon. I'd do it as a winter project but the GF would go spare if I plonked a wheel on the kitchen table and started rubbing it back!

I always fancied Colour Coded LSE wheels with the outer rims poilished like the LSE in Bish's profile (which I still use as the benchmark best classic out there)

I've got CSK wheels on my 94 Vogue SE, they have been on a while but look great still.

Please keep it looking original.

The wheel above a re fine but totally out of character for the vehicle in my opinion.

Love the alloys on this LSE. Have you had the edges machine polished and the centres painted to get this finish.

Jesus. Is that a go faster stripe I see going down the bonnet as well? Absolutely extraordinary.

Personally I've never been a fan of wheels with paint on them, I think they always tend to look a little awkward. It's personal choice. I think the Black Sports do look very purposeful and set the CSK off well, making it look pretty beastly (I'm sure with an exhaust note to match).

I'd say put on whatever wheels you like. It's your car. There are plenty of people keeping their classic's as original as possible, some people like to develop the look a little. A modern wheel is just as reasonable a choice to off-set a classic design as the originals if it is complementary to the overall look.

Just don't get spinners and don't start chucking K&N stickers on the door! wink

These are the Cyclone's on my LSE. These were the original wheels. I have seen these on a Vogue SE and have to say they fit on the shorter wheel-base as well. They only came in 16" though.

Silverline Wheels;

Only the ones on the CSK are satin not gloss.

They cost a fair bit but I decided to treat myself smile

I have two sets of the original CSK alloys which I will get round to fixing up one day, just to change the look.

I had the 5 spoke TWR's on a brooklands kitted RRC, lovely wheel.

Cheers, i've had a search and found a place selling them
and they do look very similar

Only problem is the place is in the US, i'll keep looking as they don't
do international shipping
