Hi I am new here and have a few questions !!!

I am so excited having just bought a 1994 110 a bit beaten up but thats half the fun!! But unfortunatly I have a few questions

So can anyone help :

1. Having now gone to start the darling 110 I think I have a flat battery as when I turn the key all I get is a clicking noise (sounds like my MG did when it had a flat battery) am I warm.

2. Upon checking the battery I only seem to have one is this normal I thought most landys had 2, I seem to have 2 earths but only one battery and one live ?

I would attach a photo if I new how !!!!

The clicking noise is proberbly the starter solinoid, which either means the battery is flat, the starter motor is shot or there is a wiring problem, I had a clicking noise on my old V8 turned out to be the earth to the starter, so I ran an earth direct to the bolt that holds the starter on. (could this be the second earth of which you speek???). Are the lights dim/go out when you try to start it??.
Dont think two batterys was standard but it may have had one fitted at some time or other.

Charge the battery up and see if that sorts it - its the easiest place to start checking. Mine clicks with a flat battery.

I think one battery is standard, though some people like to fit 2 with a split charge system.
