Does anyone have any knowledge of this product
Discussion
Hi folks,
Does anyone have any knowledge of the product that fixes cracks in V8's. It is an american product that apparently is the bees knees. It has been in use in the states for about 40 years, and is seen as a permanent repair to say, a headgasket problem.
Obviously the repair of a headgasket would be better, but from what I have heard this stuff is fantastic, and will never fail once used.
The reason I ask is that the chap selling his range rover to me has used it, and once used the vehicle has been faultless. (It had been overheating)
For what I am paying for the Rangerover, in effect I am buying it for what it is worth in parts, so the seller has been completely open. I don't have any reservations, but am wondering how long it may last?
I have just read the above, sorry for waffliing a bit.
Edited to add the actual name of product
"CARGO SEAL UP" for V8 engines....

I have seen talk of this stuff on the forums at Land Rover Owner mag (www.lro.com)
From what I remember it was good things too, but probably worth having a look there.
