What is a clubman worth?

I've always been a fan of the looks of the original clubman, and liking minis since as long as I can remember I don't know wether or not to go for this one. I've been offered a clubman (in beige ) that's been off the road since '97. Dry stored I must add. Body is pretty sound, a fair bit of surface rust to sort out but nothing structural. And obviously it will need to be gotten running again. Guy wants £1,300 for it. It's done about 40k miles and was looked after by himself until being taken off the road. Is it worth going for?

It dose not sound mad money may be a bit high. If the body is good but do have a very good look all over. For good car (Clean with MOT etc) you are looking at 3-5K so you could easy spend that if you have a lot of body work to do.
