Been looking at old Minis and they look a good way to have fun and learn how to drive properly!
I know the body hasn't really changed over the years but what about different engine's etc?
What upgrades are readily available? Stripped out what do they weight In at, roughly?
And just any general advice really would be awesome
What can you get for your money?
Sorry for all the questions!

A bit more of what you are afeter would be good but for a start.
850 to 1275 (All the newer cars are 1275)
Parts on the hole are easy to get. Engine tuning parts are rearly easy to get just throw your money there way.
A good basic car start at about 2K with minis going up to and above 50K.
The cars can be made very light with carbon fiber front ends doors and boots avalible at a cost and other components.
