Hi all,

When in second gear going round a corner, it pops out of gear. Is this a big fix? Thanks smile

engine and box out, strip gearbox, inspect 2nd gear, inspect baulk ring, inspect 1st/2nd hub, replace as required, refit all.

sounds easy!smile

its about two days work

if your lucky you may get away with just new balls and springs in the hub, as weak springs will allow the gear to jump out, but normally they are an effect, rather than a cause of this problem - more likley its a combo of poor baulk ring, and worn parts on the gear and hub.

you wont know until its stripped and it will only get worse!

I'm pretty sure that when I had exactly this problem several years ago I had to replace a worn 1st/2nd selector fork which was worn and allowed the synchro hub to slip out of engagement. So probably worth checking all the above plus the selector.

Yep, other two posts are pretty accurate, sounds like an engine out job, replace baulk rings but worth giving the whole engine a good going over while you have it out. In my experience, it's not cheap but as previous reply, it's only going to get worse.
I had exactly the same problem recently, it was so annoying. I had the engine out an replace the clutch, timing chain and a few oil seals a them same time to save money in the future.
