Hey,
Il be 17 in november and have just bought a mini to be my first car biggrin ive done some mock quotes and so far the best one is around £1.700 for third party, fire and theft. What is the cheapest method and with who?

im 18 now, got insured on my mini when i was 17. im with footmanjames, you have to join a car club to be with them but they give you very cheap insurance mines only £650.

I'm 19 and mines £1200 to insure. Hmmmmm, not sure if thats because it's old or a 1275 engine.

When I first insured my mini (94 1275 sprite) when I was 18 it was £1650 ish, that was with Norwich Union and included the alloy wheels as a modification. £1700 doesn't sound too bad for your first year in these times...

ETA this was fully comp too...

I'm with HIC atm - they were the cheapest I could find, and I've been with them before and never had any bad issues.
