A mini issue on my mini.

Does anybody know if it is a common fault for mini windows not to go down? The drivers window will only open 1cm then it gets jammed. Does anybody know the best way to go about fixing this before I go about ripping the door cards out?

The windows in your cars have not been kind to you.

Take the door cards off. The system runs on rails fixed to the bottom of the window. They can rust. You will see the window winding system fixed to the door. If you take this out and see why it is not moving. Be carfull becuse the glass is heavey and the winding system is holding it up.
