heres a question...

has anyone here sold a mini through the classifieds here?

its time i moved my mini mayfair one (did less than 150 miles last year, it spent the rest of its time in heated storage!)

i really cant be arsed with the whole ebay thing......

Definetly worth trying on here, its always one of the first places I look at when looking for a new car. Also probally worth trying Car and Classic as well.

Yes it went very well. I did have an odd email from some one how wanted the car with out seeing it. There were other give aways that it was a scam. But the car sold ok. I would use pistonheads againe.

Pre-empting the French West African Interest hehe

Seriously Rich - sold both cars and bits on PH. Excellent service, and without the usuals tyre kickers and eejits.

PM me with the details - I could be interested myself!

Have you sold it yet?

Exactly what I'm looking for! Shame you're some distance away but may be worth the trip to buy a genuine car from a proper PHer!

bit of feedback

the car sold to the second person who viewed it, the first person really wanted it, but had a problem sorting insurance cover out, so had to back out.

it could have sold in the first couple of days had various things not got in the way (not that i was in any rush to sell)

roughly about forty people contacted me, only one was of the 'WOTS UR BOTTMZ PRICE MATE' variety, most where from knowledgable interesting people.

pistonheads is definatly far better than ebay, thats a fact!
