A friend owned this S in either the late 60s early 70s . He bought it from a well known Actor , who in turn had bought it from P.Sellers.

Does anyone have any info or a photo of it ? Apparently it was sold at Auction a few years ago ?

Which one? There are about 4 "Sellers minis" in all, a mixture of LHD, RHD, Radford and W&P ones!

Not sure, it was def rhd as i remember sitting in it at "Waltham Abbey Gun Club" , Which i have just discovered closed ( for a housing estate ) in 1970.

Will speak to my friend to see if he has the photo of it.

Hi all,

the car that was featured in the Magazines, is the LHD Radford from the movie

" A SHOT IN THE DARK" some say that 2 were built?????

but there have been other movies, with a car suddenly being LHD, when it was a RHD in the previus scene, so its hard to say ??

really need to track down someone that worked on the set? or Elke Sommer ?

Peter Sellers was the person who started it all, with 6189 PK .
A Hooper Coachbuild Cooper, seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyqqZno8Ktg

His wife Britt Ekland also had atleast one Radford, maybe 2 ??
there is the one from the birthday cake scene, but the one she got stolen some years later, had the square CIBIE headlights´, so who knows ??

Peter Sellers later turned to Wood & Pickett for his Coachbuild "addiction" needs.
