mk 1 steering rack

Does anyone know of refurbisher of mk1 racks or possibly and exchange one? Thanks

they are quite hard to find, your other option is to use a mk2 onwards rack, but you must use the later steering arms otherwise the ackerman angle is thrown out and it will handle like a pig

Thanks Guru for that info. I suppose as I am changing a lot of the steering and suspension I could go for a complete mk.II setup with a quickrack. Do you think that would work.

i wouldnt bother with the quickrack unless you are doing motorsport.

on a road car it makes the steering a bit too quick, particually if your retaining the big steering wheel
