What brake fluid i should go for?
Discussion
Dot 4 should be fine for normal driving. If it's not then your brakes must be getting seriously hot.
I always use AP600 in all my rally cars, but it's about £15 for half-a-litre, so with bleeding ALL, repeat ALL of the old fluid out in order to change to AP600 you can easily use up to 1 litre, so very expensive and you nedd real justification to spend this much. It also needs changing more often than Dot 4. to need AP600 you would be fading normal pads, like EBC 'Green out quite quickly and be on carbon-metallic.
I hope this helps.
