hello all,

Anyone in the area near Folkestone that has a nice mini* (see below) that fancys giving me a ride and a chat about said cars. I'm sure i could stretch to some sort of gift, such as a charitable donation of your choosing, or fish and chips and a kentish ale....

(* when i say nice, i mean one that does not have shagged suspension and half a bolt holding on the subframes. Really i am interested in the road manners and expirence of being in a classic mini in the modern world. So a middle of the road, well sorted daily car, specfication not inportant at all.)

Now many of you will have seen my various posts over the last year, and indeed responded; so i hope the sencerity of this post felt rather then some bloke wanting a "free...ish ride". I currently run a small SEAT and a Honda Civic Type R (EP3 variant/breadvan model) I would be happy to return the favour ride in the Civic with any requirements to driving taken on board. (granted this may or may not be of interest to many mini owners, but the K20a Type R engine is now readily available for the mini, standard front fitment, it is a insight to what the ultimate modified mini must be a little bit like....)

I may just be on the cusp' of releasing some funds (about 2k) and I am going to pump that into a mini. However the other day i realised its been 8 years since i once rode in one..... I just need to make sure.....

I work shifts so i have varying "off" times. Light traffic periods would be good. Night time is not a problem, just another expirence.

cheers all
