97 mini no start

Hi,
My name is Justin I just joined this site hoping to find some answers. My car will not start. I checked all fuses and I have power to everywhere except to small wire on starter solenoid. I hear a little clicking sound in the engine management relay but that's it. I have no idea what's going on. I have a suspicion that it may have something to do with the immobilizer system but not sure. Any ideas?

Has it ever run in your ownership? If so how long ago and after what event did it cease working:

Check the earthing strap to start with.... on the front subframe.....

I'll check the earthing strap and looks like it's a good idea to add a second one from what i'mve been reading.
I've had the car for about two years and it's ran great for the most part. I'm assuming my engine size is 1275cc but not positive. Don't know what details I can give you on the imobilizer.

magic reset switch?

if you have one it will be to the left of the air box, looks like a rubber donut press the top in and out and it might cure the problem.
