Hey has anyone had much experience with the KAD twin master cylinder brake bias set up? Ive heard there quite difficult to set up and get good balance /feel? It seems picking the master cylinder size is a bit of an art? cheers

I think brakes in genaral could be difficult to to set up?

It all depends what your are running (kad 4pot/ 6pots etc)
Then are you running rear drums or kad discs? different pad options can make a difference aswell and they do different size wheel cylinders at the rear.

Get your brake set up then make a call to kad there friendly and helpfull, some of the acctual master cylinders are only £30 is so wont brake the bank if you have to swap a few.

I dont no if thats helpd or con fused you.

Cheers for the help, im running 7.9 minisport vented 4 pots standard pads (changing to green stuff soon) mini fins with 1 3/4 cylinders on the rear, yellow tag master cylinder.. the cars a road car but light (you can lift the rear wheels off the floor).
People have been using single circuit and front rear split circuits with a bias proportioning valve on the rear to good effect which im also considering.
Am i right in saying that the KAD pedal box does not proportion break effort ie increase front break effort under heavy braking, yes its adjustable but dose not change with the break effort, so even at slow speeds most of the break effort is getting sent to the front...

Just fit a Tilton bias bar into the rear circuit. Cheaper, easier to set-up and safer. The last thing you want is locking rear wheels. If your car has been significantly lightened, rear braking requirement is diminished.
