My mini is a 1986 998cc mini and it will not start at the key how ever the ignition will turn on and there is power to the fuse box and it will start fine if you sort it across the starter moter and the soleinoied with a screw driver. can any one help me why it wont start at the key
I would say top of the list is the soleinoied. Replacments are avaleble but I have re built some befor ok. Can some times just be the bolts fixing the wires on. Take them of (disconect the battery first) then give them all a good clean and see how you go.
