How much does a complete A series engine and box wieght ?

Mines on the garage floor at the mo so if i can find some scales big enough ill weigh it!!
Must be somewhere around the 150Kg mark.
What ya reckon?

Not sure, I would say around 100kgs.

Two big lads can easily take one out by hand.

So somewhere between 100-150 so far then Any takers?

Just lifted mine on me own so must be close to 100kg!!
Ill see how tough the bathroom scales are later

A Hayabusa engine complete wieghts only 90 Kgs, and it's all ally.

Are you sure it weighs that much?
90Kgs is about 15 Stone

Does seem quite high, the whole bike only weighs 215KG.

Have seen the wieght advertised as under 85kgs with the wiring and ecu and exhaust, and everthing you need to get it running in a car. So said 90 just to be sure.

Will weight my engines when they get here, will also weight Holeshot turbo kit as well.
Engines should be here by end of next week.

Now my engines apart ill weigh each part and work out total amount!

Wasnt to sure if the bathroom scales would mind a entire engine them

You sir are indeed barmy, or should that be eccentric?

I was thinking 550bhp in a 550kgs car would be plain silly but 1386/tonne is just barmy.

Its most mental mini i ever seen. the work is top notch... see how clean the gearbox casing is.

what is the times on that?
