Great video, was it from the Gold Cup?
....... I think he's been watching too many films from the 50's, ..... that's how they used to drive in those. Has he ever ridden as a passenger on the chair in a racing sidecar outfit??? .... moving weight from one side to the other???Great video, was it from the Gold Cup?

joe, the driver is a very experienced racer - he raced at le-mans and has raced all sorts of saloons at a very high level - i guess it has a tight diff and the tyres are moving around a lot, hence the input from the wheel!guru_1071 said:

........ just watched some of the videos you have just posted on another thread, and I don't agree with what you are saying. The steering is never steady for one moment, even on the straights!!! The aggressive input induces understeer, he then increases the input exagerating the understeer & then releases it. He obviously didn't drive FWD at Le Mans!! He must get out of the car absolutely knackered, he is too tense, to aggressive & if he smoothed everything out, would be considerably quicker!!
joe, ive pointed out to him that the other driver (white helmet) is far smoother then him (blue helmet) and must be more used to driving fwd - mike (blue helmet) agreed with me, but said that he is so used to driving rwd cars he has a tendancy to lift when the back starts to move rather then keeping his foot hard in. either way it makes entertaining viewing and the results certainly speak for them selves
