Why Cant I sell my MINI?

Got a lovely 2 owner from new Mini 1.3i Equinox. Its only done 15k I have all the old MOT's and the car is mint. I'm not trying an advert in this thread but Im amazed at the lack of interest ive had. Been on A/T, Ebay and Pistonheads classifieds and 1 viewing...in three months. I'm asking £3750. a USED CAR DEALER NEAR ME, NOT A MINI SPECIALIST, sold an auto Mayfair with 23k (It was K reg) for not far short of £5k recently, am I asking WAY too muvh? Is there anywhere else I should be advertising?

I think car sales are generally slow at the moment tbh, especially private sales. Do you NEED to sell or are you looking to sell? another problem is that in Minis, there is a lot of choice, so unless it sticks out it wont get much interest. tho i must say 15k is a good low mileage.

What kind of pictures are you using. Personally speaking i look at classic mini adverts that have pictures of floor pans, inner arches,boot floor, basically the parts that matter most. If you can show its rust free then it instantly stands out in the crowd.

I think people are after bits rather than complete cars.
My brother had a nearly complete car he had restored, no one would even come look at it, so he broke it and made twice what he was asking by selling the bits individually.
Its a sad way to go, not to mention the agro of breaking and selling individual bits but that seems the only way to get the ££ the cars deserve!

Crikey I dont want to break it..its like a new car! Just wondered if there was another specialist website worth trying, you only need one buyer as they say..
