Hi Vroom,
Don't try to cut corners with sill replacement. the over-sills some people fit are a bloody disaster. All thet happens is that the old rusty sill cause the new metal to corrode very quickly.
I don't know where you live, but if you can get the car to Hitchin, Chris Spennewyn is great (ask Dodgy Dave) and not too expensive (Tel: 01462 711080). He will, however, only fit genuine replacement sills, not the cheap crap pattern ones.
What are your inner sills like? Are they OK. Is it all sound at the back of the rear glove boxes and the rear sub-frame mounts? Have a really good look.
When you fit sills the problem is that it burns the paint a little way up the rear quarter panels which then need painting as well as the sills.
